Mobile Primary Care Clinics for Upper Respiratory Issues in Sydney
In Sydney, there’s an essential resource for anyone struggling with upper respiratory concerns: the mobile access clinic. These clinics are designed to help those who might feel unwell but don’t need emergency assistance.

- Location: Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Ambulatory Care Clinic, 1482 George Street, Sydney
- When: Saturdays on January 17, 24, and 31, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It’s important to note that this is not a drop-in facility. To secure your appointment, please call 902-574-3275. The phone lines will open at 7:30 a.m. on the days of the clinics, exclusively for same-day bookings. Please be aware that the number of available appointments is limited, so it’s advisable to call early.
This clinic is set up to assist with non-urgent, low-acuity respiratory complaints. It is not equipped to handle emergencies. Here are some examples of issues you may seek help for at this clinic:
- Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV)
- Influenza
- COVID-19
- Shortness of breath
- Persistent cough
- Ear pain
- Sore throat
Upon your arrival at the clinic, staff will inquire about the reason for your visit to ensure that your health needs can be appropriately addressed. Don’t forget to bring your health card with you for verification.
